KARL APPRECIATION DAY
It's official - this Saturday, April 26th, 2008. Come serve with others from the seminary community as we show our appreciation for Karl Muniz, the man who keeps our grounds looking great. Come at 9 a.m. and finish off the morning with lunch, which will be provided by the Student Leadership Team. Come prepared to work outside.
THESIS DEFENSE
The seminary community is invited to the following:
Carl Heppner - Monday, April 28 at 10 a.m. in the California Room. His thesis is titled: "The Ecclesiological Deficiency of Democratic Practice in Congregational Churches."
Derek Thiessen - Tuesday, April 29 at 1 p.m. in the California Room. His thesis is titled: "The Birth of the Savior: Situating Luke 2:1-20 in its Lukan and Greco-Roman Contexts."
Nathan Tiessen - Wednesday, April 30 at 8:30 a.m. in the Oklahoma Room - a light breakfast will be provided. His thesis is titled: "The Detail of Clothing in the Old Testament: Investigating Its Meaning and Role in Narrative."
EUGENE TROFIMENKO & FINANCIAL AID
Eugene Trofimenko (Financial Aid Director) will not be in the office from May 5th through May 26th. if you are taking summer classes and you are anticipating receiving financial aid in Federal Student Loans, please see Eugene Trofimenko before April 30th to make sure everything is in order.
Students who are graduating this year and have borrowed Federal Stafford or MBBS loans, please see Eugene Trofimenko, Financial Aid Director to complete your Loan Exit Interview before April 30th.
GRADUATION BANQUET
The banquet will be held on May 16 at 6:00pm : dinner and program. Graduating students get their ticket free! For all other students and visitors, the ticket price is $10. Tickets can be purchased from Nancy Williams.
RETURNING STUDENT FINANCIAL AID APPLICATION

Would you like to share it with others? The editors of MB Biblical Seminary's 'In Touch' magazine invite you to submit your favorite quote from a book you have read during your time at seminary. All you have to do is e-mail the quote (no more than 4 sentences long), along with the book's title, author and year of publication, your name, campus, and degree program to: Megan Richard at mrichard@mbseminary.edu by May 1. Five will be chosen and featured in the September 2008 edition of 'In Touch' magazine! Note: 'In Touch' is inserted into the MB Herald and Christian Leader magazines and mailed to over 1,000 alumni.

Christian Apologetics and Missions Scholarship
An annual scholarship of $250 will be awarded to the student who write the best paper on: Jesus and the Religious World. Papers are due by May 3, 2008 and should be submitted to Valerie Rempel, Associate Dean - MBBS Fresno, CA via mail or e-mail to vrempel@mbseminary.edu.
