FREE BOOKS
First come, first serve...Dr. John Jackson's book "Pastorpreneur" is available. Dr. Jackson left some copies of his book for the seminary community, so get them before they run out. Nancy Williams will have them on hand in the administration building.

GLOBAL COMMUNITY DINNER
The Global Community Dinner will be held on March 29th at 5:30 in the B.C. Lounge. Everyone is invited!

JANZEN LECTURESHIP : JOHN E. TOEWS
The annual Janzen Lectureship in Biblical Studies, sponsored by Fresno Pacific University and MB Biblical Seminary, will occur March 27-28. This year's featured lecturer is John E. The proposed new M.A. Program for Theology, O.T. and N.T. will be discussed at Common Meal on April 2. See the report posted on the white board outside the B.C. Lounge. Join students from around the country for a Gathering of Anabaptist Seminarians at Fuller Theological Seminary, Pasadena, CA! Through the organizing efforts of students and faculty, Fuller Theological Seminary is pleased to host a gathering for seminary students interested in Anabaptism in cooperation with Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary, Eastern Mennonite Seminary, and Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary. Would you like to share it with others? The editors of MB Biblical Seminary's 'In Touch' magazine invite you to submit your favorite quote from a book you have read during your time at seminary. All you have to do is e-mail the quote (no more than 4 sentences long), along with the book's title, author and year of publication, your name, campus, and degree program to: Megan Richard at mrichard@mbseminary.edu by May 1. Five will be chosen and featured in the September 2008 edition of 'In Touch' magazine! Note: 'In Touch' is inserted into the MB Herald and Christian Leader magazines and mailed to over 1,000 alumni.

Christian Apologetics and Missions Scholarship
An annual scholarship of $250 will be awarded to the student who write the best paper on: Jesus and the Religious World. Papers are due by May 3, 2008 and should be submitted to Valerie Rempel, Associate Dean - MBBS Fresno, CA via mail or e-mail to vrempel@mbseminary.edu. LENTEN PRAYERS
The Seminary community is invited to participate in morning and evening Lenten prayers hosted by College Community Church. The prayer times are held each Wednesday morning and evening and last about 30 minutes, giving time for silent refelction, spoken group prayer, and song. Morning services are at 7:15 at College Community Church (2529 Willow, Clovis). The evening services are at 5:15 and take place at the home of Jean and Louis Janzen (5508 E. Lane Ave, Fresno).
